The Inland Water Route Historical Society was founded in August of 2004.
Summer Hours of Operation are: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm M-W-F-Sa-Su.
We are dedicated to maintaining and preserving the History of the Inland Water Route of northern Michigan. We have nice displays that include photos and artifacts on each community along the entire water route, including Conway, Oden, Ponshewaing, Alanson, Indian River, Topinabee, and Cheboygan.
